CCJ QLD Cruise - Sunday, 24 October 2010

Good morning QLD base!

Ok, so I've been in cahoots with Steve (sleeper) about the next cruise - it's taking me forever to put in on the site because of
a) work
b) work
c) work

Steve has done this great thing of outlining the towns to go through and roads to take, etc etc, and I used the awesomeness of Google Maps to produce the map. Now, the suggested route, has a loooong smooth stretch on the right hand side, that's the suggested road for those when the day is done who just want to go home the most convenient way - for others who may want to do a bit more driving heading home, the road through Landsborough is for you I'll pull my finger out this week and make the run sheets up with both options - it's kinda like a choose your own adventure book. The run takes a few hours non-stop, but with stops and lunch and toilet breaks, allow most of your day

DATE: 24th October 2010
MEET TIME: 8am.
MEET PLACE: Bunnings carpark - 1925 Gympie Rd, Carseldine.
WHAT TO BRING: Camp chairs are a great idea ($8 from Kmart/Big W), two-ways, radio's if you have them, cameras and a positive attitude.

With any Club cruise, there are rules but lots of fun to be had. All will be made clear on the day. Post up if you are likely to attend, confirmation of numbers will be made 2 weeks out of the event via email/PM, and then food stuff confirmed 1 week out.

Well done Kym, looks good. Great that Steve is helping.

It is good to see Queensland having a cruise. I have notice so many new members who are just itching for a cruise.

The last cruise we did was down south and over the border, so that is why it is up the north this time. However - there's always going to be more cruises so if you have ideas, please do PM me about where you'd like to go
