Hos lip kit

Postby lukeaday » Thu Nov 05, 2009 7:02 am

Just purchased the body kit for the new ride.
It's a HOS GT200KR lip kit.
I have the VRX rear spoiler at home in the raw ready for painting.
I ordered some front guard fenders and some eye lids just to top it all off.

All up it is going to cost $2300. Bit pricey but $980 of that is shipping costs.

Check it out here 8)

Congratulations on your buy.

I'm wondering why you didn't order a set through me? Perhaps it's time to be honest about it? Do people think by ordering through me as being troublesome or do people suspect I'm making abit off the side?

I've ordered an entire HOS GT200KR Kit including:
1. Front setup
2. Rear Diffuser
3. Side Skirts

to be delivered to Blakey for A$2000.

Based on the price you paid and the price paid by Blakey, doesn't seem that there's much I can make?

I've yet to buy from you but from what I've gathered from topics you are honest and trying to find the best deals for people so I wouldn't call that troublesome.

EDIT:

Oh, and gratz on the bodykit, post it up once it's on your car :D

Thanks for that Graham but there are occuring now more and more cases of people taking the initiative to buy themselves and end up paying more. So something must be happening that I don't know about. Whether people think I'm making something off the side or whether they think I'm trying to sucker them.

Maybe they don't know about what you can do??

Seems a few of the people doing that are very new members that have often bought bits and pieces even before they get their car...... ??

actions speak louder then words

lukeaday bought the kit by himself and paid $2300 for it

Blakey got it through ofey and got it for $2000

thats a saving of $300 bucks

further more every1 that was in the group buy for the strut bar saved about 30-40% on it, isnt this enough to tell that going through ofey would save u alot of money

well at then end of the day its your money and you can spend it anyway u like but for me if going through ofey is gona save me money then i know wat id choose

OK here goes! No hard feelings. Just unawareness. That's all

My kit includes
HOS Front lip
HOS Rear lip
HOS Side Skirts
Fender Arches
Eye Lids

$2150 at my door. All in one lot. No mucking around. approx 10 days to arrive.

Rear VRX spoiler from ebay for $148 at my door. Got it 4 days after payment was confirmed.

Total Kit price.

$2300

I was completely unaware that you could get HOS body kits. Had I known that I would porbably have gone through you.

Ofey. No need to get upset. Put it out there.
Let us all know all of what you can get.

I was under the impression that these kits were hard to find. Well it took me quite some time web site browsing.

Like I said. No big deal.

Cheers, Luke

Wow now having looked it through, I think lukey got a terrific deal. Way better than what I got.

Blakey got his:
HOS Front lip
HOS Rear lip
HOS Side Skirts
A$2010 delivered to his door. 2 week wait time.

On detailed inspection, Qudans is right that lukey may have got a better deal.

I'd still like to see how much I could have gotten the same set for.

Obviously, the more you buy, the shipping gets negated?

Ofey. No need to get upset. Put it out there.

No not upset, just wondering.

All of what I can get is listed in a single thread which you all see. Perhaps I should flood the forums again by splitting each product into an individual thread... .

indeed, i got a quote of around the 2k mark for the hos kit a while back >.< was not willing to spend that much on just lips so i went for a full wide bodykit instead which cost the same amount as the hos kit

Ofey
On the topic of HOS lip kits.
Can you get a bonet the same as what is shown on the lancer with the kit on it.

If so, any idea on price and material used. Raw is fine. I can paint it myself.

Cheers, Luke

They've stopped producing that hood apparently. There were alot of alignment problems.

IF you want to force it, I know the manufacturer.

Ofey I think its best to maybe make a list of all the parts u can get and update it every now and then. So if someone wants something and sees it on ur list they will contact u.
