Hey guys I know there are already some posts on here for this but I think my question is still relevant.
So I have read two different options to wire up the foot well lights using the cabin light.
1. Wire Led using the yellow and red wire for the cabin lights red for power and yellow for ground
2. Take power from the cabin light fuse and use chassis for ground
I know that 1 would work for sure but it requires tapping into those wires, but the question is will option 2 provide the same functionality as 1?
Thanks in advance

Thanks Jason I thought that might have been the case!
And Craig I plan on using Waterproof 5050RGB LED strip with RF controller from eBay. I'll also be installing custom ghost shadow door lights hopefully I can get power and ground wire thru the door grommets. While the door housing is off and if I can run LED wires to the door I'll be adding RGB LEDs to the door as well something I saw on friends Merc, but his was factory install.
And last but not least plan is to do underglow for when the doors are open and when car is unlocked same as the ghost lights
