My battery needs replacing and was hoping to do it myself. Im on a budget and thinking of purchasing exide X55dee23c for $165 from kmart hope this shouls be good enough. Only accesories ive got are immobalizer and keyless entry stock 6 cd stacker.
Ive never changed a car battery before but it seems very straight forward. Just wondering if theres anything spcial I need to do because of the immobalizer etc.

if the immobilizer is from Mitsubishi then there is nothing really extra to do.
If you have a custom alarm system then it will detect that the main battery has been removed and will arm itself and sound the siren if it has a battery backup.
A separate key (given with your alarm) will allow you to disarm the siren.
otherwise its a plain simple change over.
