Tiff, They actually look really good so far! Im not a big fan of purple but they look great! Brendan, Does the plasti dip hold up well against like machine car washes or power cleaners?

Thank you! ^_^ I am incredibly impressed with them :P and this is how they look on :3 If you haven't read my car thread already :3 It's only a small mod but incredibly effective x3

Got sick of the holes where my number plate was so decided to take advantage of the 20% off at super cheap so I bought some brushed metal titanium vinyl this is what I did
Before:

After:

From previous experience with a black out and tearing we decided to duct tape the inside behind the holes to prevent tearing at speed/from general use sorry for the bad quality photos but I think that you get the over all picture,
Now I understand why people pay others to do it, it took me and my brother in law 2 hours or so and much frustration :), but worth it in the end I think

Finally did my sst fluid and filter change. Took 2 hours + faff time. Took 7ltrs out and had just 7ltr of diaqueen which I put in (had a couple of ltr's of the Ford powershift fluid in case I needed more). Pretty easy job from start to finish - taking the plastic under body off probably took the longest amount of time.
Unfortunately haven't been able to drive it yet as the misses is parked on front of me and I can't be bothered to swap the cards over at the moment - logging laptop is ready to go though

Washed and re-oiled K&N drop in filter. I got the newer cleaning kit with the aerosol spray instead of the older fluid in a bottle. So much easier, and probably less chance of over oiling/doing it wrong and fouling your MAF sensors with oil residue - those horror stories are all over the internet...

Attempted to change transfer case and rear diff fluids - failed, due to not having hex keys big enough. I figured since I'm going to buy hex keys, I might as well buy a whole new toolset to last me a lifetime instead of my current bunch of miscellaneous discounted tool pieces. Looking at Sydchrome/Kinchrome/Stanley, etc. "overpriced" tools.
