My experience of the Merlin tune (2.4litre CVT w/Full Exhaust and CAI):

Extra torque through out the entire rev range
Slight increase in overall power
Drop in petrol use from low 8's to low/mid 7's (wife reports high 6's)
Happy wife!!

Yeah who knows, I seem to see a different stock RA (not including me) And about a bazillion of the NA models, Just about everyday. They are definitely out there.

If it helps I have a spare boost pill for any RA owners who want to take full advantage of the tune from Merlin. Will sell very cheap.

I've got a tactrix and I can save your original ROM and email it to you so it can't be lost. Even though Merlin will probably do that anyway.

Finally, if you are worried about warranty and servicing, it is possible for you to reflash the original tune back onto your car.
I have done this several times while getting service done at a Mitsubishi dealer. So far no questions at all.

For those thinking of getting their RA tuned please do yourself a favour and take Marcus up on this offer or get some sort of boost pill/3port on your own before having Merlin or anyone else tune the car.
