Red would work nice with the colour of the dash lighting I think, yellow would work too probably. :)

@ mltese - thanks :) glad to be here!
@ scraverX - i'm leaning more towards red. there is a place about 1/2 hr drive that i'm going to go see next week (mayhem at work!) to see the fabrics etc that they have to offer. they've quote me a pretty good deal and just sussing out the quality... have to wait and see though!
