yeah - I was thinking enamel too - just an alternative type of paint really right guys? kinda resiny?
cut right through and stuff like that is an option for custom ones - for a ballpark figure, we make badges for boats which are engraved simillarly, they are $50 and around the size of a rear scuff plate... Our design will hopefully be a little simpler since the badges have a kinda multi-layered edge which takes a while to make etc. but yes, those prices are just a little hopeful I think tadz - see what's involved, different fonts could mean a doubling in price depending on how small the tools are that we'll have to use (smaller tools take longer to cut, more intricate text/designs can take 2-3 times as long as a thick bold lettering)
I'm hoping to get the front two for less than the OEM ones - don't want them to be shabby tho - so... just let me see - not working tomorrow so I might go in and work on these
Thanks for the interest folks - I'll keep u posted!

yeah really hope it all works well - I'm thinking that "the cj lancer club" text might be a bit small for my machine tadz... it can only run tools down to a certain size efficiently... but I'm pushing to upgrade the spindle of the machine a little (to a 32-40K RPM spindle ) Basically, the engraving process should take half as long and hopefully will be able to run even finer text etc...
But, at this stage I have limitations... Thick is ok, medium is a maybe... really skinny I just can't do...
gonna talk to the boss man bout these upgrades tomorrow... since it's in the company's interest as well as ours - lol
