The locust plague from NSW/VIC is on the move and heading thru SA now, unfortunately there is no way too avoid the big swarms of them but a pressure cleaner removes them pretty quickly.

I didnt think it was that bad till i got to my parents place and my old man was like WTF and when i saw it i laughed and went well that explains why the engine temp went up a bit

that was what my brother in law exclaimed when we put the injen on his car. He was hell bent on selling it once he finished Uni.
Now he's keeping it for awhile more.

As for me, I ordered an Injen for myself the very next day.

Gave the car a good wash. Also removed the front wheels fully dressed them besides tire shine since i ran out and cleaned and degreased front wheel wells, re-painted my brake calipers and spray painted the wheel hubs black.

Gotta do the rears tomorrow, might also do an oil change :)

Not exactly what I did today but what I'll be doing tomorrow.... washing the car. Glad I put the screen on the front before we left. This was only at the halfway mark.

I warned Troy about going to the Melbourne Cruise.
Ever since he returned, all he thinks about is how to Rice-It-Up alla Victorian Style.

He's fitting lights everywhere in the Roof Lining the Foot Wells

I used 50% grade shadecloth. I think I went a bit overboard with mine but it worked well. I fixed it at the bottom by double stapling a pocket in the bottom edge just big enough to slide a door width carpet edge in to - the carpet edge was cut into halves and re-drilled to fit the bolt spacing for the bumper/stone tray bolts. The top was fixed using cable ties in convenient holes in the front of the engine bay (remove the plastic cover across the front of the car - the one you made the CAI grill in). For the edges I trimmed the shadecloth about 50mm larger than the grill then folded them over then stapled them. I then put a length of electrical tape down the outside and inside of the edge as well as one that covers the edge (half on the front and fold it round to the back). I then stapled the electrical tape down as it doesn't stick very well to the shadecloth and put another strip of electrical tape down the inside to cover the staples to prevent them from scraping the paintwork. The final bit is to cable tie the edges to the driving light surrounds to keep it flat against the grill.

If you like, I will post some pics of it tomorrow to give you some idea of what I'm talking about.
