Interior Neons & Center Console Wires

hey,

does anyone know what these wires under here are for?

I am looking at wiring interior neons (x2) in my car, and am looking for a power source... any help would be apprciated :)

any ideas on how i can wire them up so they only come on when the doors open? :S

Those are for heated seats on overseas models I think i read before....

Yup mine are wired to the door activation. Behind the glovebox there is a harness with a yellow wire that is a switched ground. From that plug you can also get the 12V constant supply you'll need....

This weekend I'll get some pics and more info for you....

My car doesn't have them, but we didn't get heated seats as an option here in the U.S., just Canada as far as I know. That bites too, because it's been below zero here a few times lately, but it's actually above freezing today, for a change.

were are your heater controls for the seats? near the centre console?
that wiring sits in there as spares.

the switches are for the drivers and passenger seats only. The switches are in front of the centre console pocket thing. From the pics that I have seen, it looks like u guys just have a flat piece of plastic. Seems some of u are resting ur ipods on that area

to bobcat... trust me bro we need those seats up here :). The day that we get a day in winter that's above zero, ill start believing in global warming cause thats just never happened haha

wire them to the dome/ map lights, then they will come on with the doors
