Nsw Police running a Evo X. Was seen at the Sydney Royal Easter Show as well, quick google search for "NSW Police Evo X" will bring up many sites with images.

Anybody else find it interesting that the Evo X cop car pictured here was actually a Red one to begin with? Considering the amount of white on the bodywork you'd think they'd start with a white one at least!

HAHAH those Evo's are crazy! i've only seen one on the Goldcoast Highway and one Undercover CJ aswell.

It would be like a million points if you took a photo with your Cj and a cop car cj puilling you over!!

I just remembered i took heaps of photos of the Vic Police Evo police car:

The interior is fairly decked out so i cant see why it wouldnt be used in daily police use.

all the signs are probably a full car vinyl. alot cheaper then painting. and the car can be anycolour so it doesn't matter.

hahah yeah! im pretty sure thats the one they use when they first try and pull you over, before they go to the full on siren if they start chasing you.

They use plenty of CJ's as police cars in sydney now. My local area has 6 of them alone. They aren't Evo's though, just VRs.

Haven't seen any Lancer Cop cars down here in the ACT. All Ford and Holden.

UK have interceptor units where they drive a modified evo or rex. I saw a show on it from a few years ago when the X just came out. The boys were in uniform standing at the window of the car dealer drooling and wondering when they will get theirs. It was on a sunday so they said they were at church.

The VICPOL evo is more of a publicity stunt, as far as I know there is only one of them and it spends its days at carshows and the like. I wonder if its tyres have touched bitumen?
