The purpose of this thread is NOT for a laugh but more a serious question which we hope to address. Many of us since buying the NA Lancers have looked on enviously at the turbo power offered by an RA in addition to its AWD system. Sure it my not be the "REAL THING" like an Evo but for most of us, it will "hit the spot".
This thread grew out of interest stirred in the discussion forum " 2011 Lancer Ralliart in a Manual?????? " and also some discussions I've had with Nick of PMR.
The plan
To see how much REAL interest there was really in a Upgrade or New Purchase of RAs.
Trade This:
FOR 
A top spec RA at the moment with the MMCS+RF system installed is: A$46,990 drive away.
The average VRX can be traded in for about A$20,000 and would be traded in stock, i.e. reverse all your mods and sell them in the future or attach them to you new RA for those who have modded heavily.
That means in a normal situation, you would need to shell out about A$28,000 to upgrade to an RA.
However if we all pooled together in a group buy of 100 cars *random number* . This would reduce this cost significantly. How much NO ONE knows. This would require first an EOI list to see.
To be honest I'd take an SST one if PMR could give me an upgrade price of under A$12,000. I would do it in a heartbeat. Sounds unreasonable but that's my "break point". To find out what this upgrade cost would be, he needs to know rough ball park numbers and an EOI List
Please don't ask more questions. The question is below and follow my style of answer. Where is the price point where you will definitely walk out and do this.
It's hypothetical but if we have enough people who would be willing to do this, trust my reputation, I will make it happen and if it does, we'd be world famous for pulling off a first I suspect.
And yes nick can sell cars to ANY state. It may cost abit more to deliver but he can do it OR you could fly down to VIC and we could all have some crazy large meet where we hand over 100 cars and then everyone could drive it back home. Far fetched I know but we have to start somewhere to explore the possibility first.
Thought : We have 300+ people logging on in a day. If only a third of you had the capacity to do this, it probably would happen.
