What effect will these bars have on our cars?

The vrx's and Aspires already have the top bar in the engine bay. What size are they?

Will it effect the comfort of the ride?

I am going to fit King springs when they open after Christmas. I know these are going to stiffen my ride a little. I dont want to feel every bump.

Are people fitting these because they use their cars on the track or is there a benifit for everyday drive?

These bars are not the one under the bonnet. These are sway bars aka anti-roll bars.

They basically, as the name suggests, reduces roll of the car through corners etc

A front wheel drive is always going to understeer. It's how they are. Our cars already understeer when stock.

However, aftermarket swaybars allow you to "tune" your suspension to allow for more understeer or more oversteer, depending on what you want for your driving.

A large front sway bar with our a rear bar at all, will of course induce understeer. However, we have rear bars as standard so to a degree adding a larger front have too much of a drastic effect on understeer. (Some cars have no rear bar at all)

On the contrary, having no front bar but a large rear bar can induce oversteer. In a front wheel drive car this is not what you want for ideal handling. You want a bit of understeer.

If you are so worried about inducing more understeer, why did you already get a full setup of chassis braces AND a 23mm Rear Swaybar, but no swaybar for the front?

Might be interested in these, maybe the handling ones. Anyone know what size the stock bars are in the RA?

What would be the best for AWD, I'd be looking for a neutral setup if that will help understeer I sometimes notice.

Hi billyboy:
The standard OEM Bars on the Ralliart are Front = 22mm and Rear = 20mm.
These are the same as the VRX and Aspire models.

Keep in Mind: Larger Size Diameter = Stiffer Bar.
Therefore: Handling Group = Ideal for Spirited Road-Use and Sport = Ideal for Road and/or moreso Track Use.
