Thank you all for the advice. Due to not wanting to spam CCJ (as I think I already have), I shall continue this discussion in private, as it has deviated a bit as well, into mumbo jumbo....
Keep discussing which coolant you use. I'd love to hear what people at CCJ use in their cars.
Thanks for the care and patience and even promptness

Also, its best to use demineralised water, in both your cooling system and battery....
Sure, you can use tap water but that can add to calcification of your cooling system.
Although Mitsu recommends coolant changes at 45,000 service intervals, I did mine when I picked it up (30,000km).
Its a very, very simple job (yes its costly - but hey if you can't afford the car get a bicycle...)

If you're really pressed, I have some Nulon Long Life Top Up coolant left over. Feel free to get in touch and we can work out a time to meet for me to pass it over to you.

Ah, I was gonna ask about avoiding tap/town water. You just answered my question.

Make sure you don't go over your scheduled service KMs or time by too much... And a service costs <$70 DIY
I paid like $97 for my 15,000km service. Parts + Labor included
Sounds like you got good oil for that price
