Might as well ask it here since everyone knows lol...
Since im hopefully getting the RA rear bar, as all of you should know, its Dual Exhaust..
What should i do for a relativly cheap and effective solution...With the CJ's small engine im most likely going to loose power by adding the dual exhaust..
I dont think im going to go for anything racy or loud...Even if they can cut a hole in my stock exhaust, bend a pipe and stick it out the other side with a chrome tip ill be happy...But do you guys rekon i should go for a proper setup...I just dont want that drone while crusing down the freeway. If it sounds like a stock CJ i dont mind, long as though the affect is the same...
Would cutting and fabricating a second outlet on the stock exhaust work? positives and negatives from it??
Thanks guys

But you see, i dont have too much money to spend. The exhaust itself is going to have to wait a few months after i get the car fixed so i can get some more money to it looks proper..
I mean, if i can get someone to fabricate a second outlet on my stock exhast for liek $100 and i can run around with that on for a few months untill i get a proper one whether it would be from RPW or custom id be happy..If i loose power for a few months i mean who cares, it would be like 5 hp and wouldnt really be noticeable.
Long as though theres no negative affects to the engine, ie damaging it i dont really care for the moment

why do you have to change or modify your existing exhaust?? why can't you just install a fake tip on the otherside? you'd be looking at 40-50 bucks for a tip. that would be far cheaper then buying a new exhaust system or modifying an existing exhaust especially if its jsut for a few months until you decide what you want to do.

I'd just get a fake one for now, then save up for one of RPW's dual outlet setups. I saw a pic on their site the other day and it looks kinda neat.
Best of luck with everything dude.

I think K-Mart is the way to go then. Gotta finish unpacking my room then im gunna head down to the smash repair place and ask a few questions on getting the RA rear bar..
What should i actually say to them?
"If i can get you the part number for the OEM rear bar that i want, would you guys be able to order it and install it under the insurance?, I can get you everything you need to organise it all you would have to do was place the order for it from your supplier"
That sound okay?
