Sunroof wind deflector

Postby kinsei74 » Fri Dec 11, 2009 4:57 pm

Hey,

Just tossing up whether to order a sunroof wind deflector as I'm getting some really bad wind noise once I hit 50-60km/h. They retail for $110 and I'm not sure how much difference it will make. Does anyone else have one? I had a sunroof in one of my first cars and never had this problem.

I think he means a piece of plastic that will act as a shield to the front of the sunroof, sort of the same as those plastic parts that go on the front of the car to stop rocks hitting your car, I'm not sure if there would be an OEM part for this or not.

Yeah, it fits on the front of the sunroof and in theory deflects the wind up and over the open sunroof but not sure how effective they are. It is an official option:

Might look and match in OK with the rear spoiler.
