I wasn't the photographer and that wasn't taken on a crappy digital camera. And I'd like to see you take a better photo in the same situation as what Nathan had to work with that day.

blakey i'd disagree wih you. i had a 'proper' slr before i moved onto the DSLR that i have now and i honestly believe that the DSLR is a better piece of kit all round. the photos are just as good as the ones i use to take on the old film SLR but now i have the added benifit of being able to preview my shots instead of just snapping off a couple of each and hoping i had it set up right... oh and for the record i too have done a photography course. just my 2 cents everyone will have their own opinion and no one is right or wrong it just comes down to personnal preference in the end but keep in mind that adrian and chris seem quite happy with the work that was done (free of charge as i understand it) so if you're going to come in and tell them that its crap obviously you're going to take some flak for it.

lol i want making out they are crap im just saying for a profesional photogropher they are very amatureish pictures. even with the conditions he had to take them in the pictures could of been alot better.

and i did expect that, that why i said it. some one had to be honest about it. people where saying they where amazing pictures but they arent they are just good pictures that could of been alot better.

the rig shots are good i have nothing aginst them it was just the stationary ones. with the trollies in the background

also adrian the camera yes, but the lenses i doubt you would find one worth 20grand(show me if you do i wanna see it). but i do know you can get cameras for >30grand.

I heard there's a rather huge and special pro grade Canon lense that includes a trip to the factory in Japan to see it being made.

For the record: Nathan said yes it's not the best photos he has taken by far. But due to the lack of light and considering we expected outside shots he has no flash or tripod that's how they came out.

Also, there are plenty of lens worth over 10k. He had a 15k lens. One of his bodies was 10k but the body he took those with was only 5k.

So i guess to paint a picture (No pun :P) the day went a bit pair shaped. We arrived at said under cover car park, the sun was out but a few clouds and rain drops about, we all had a chat and then Nathan & Adrian got on the job to setup the rig on my car first. This is not a quick operation as it needs to be adjust to suite the car. They had only just finished when the heavens opened up with a massive storm and anyone close by decided to seek shelter in the car park, so basicly we had very little choice of where to do the shots. It was either trollys in the background or someones POS dunny door, (Go the trollies) so yes they could have been a lot better but i for one are happy that Nathan took the time to go ahead and give it a go anyhow with the conditions he had and all for free.

So when i say they are awesome, they are for the what we had to work with, thanks again the Nathan & Adrian for setting it up. Now that we have another photographer in Blakey maybe we can organize another photo shoot, the more the better, :D
