Custom Cars Online - new FREE online car magazine

Postby Concord Customs » Sun Sep 06, 2009 9:22 pm

hello everyone,

some of you may know me or know of my compnay Concord Customs as of late.

we specialse in all forms of custom work for your car.

I thought i would also post up that I also work in conjunction with an online car magazine at CUSTOM CARS ONLINE www.custom-cars-online.com

this site is free to view and has been running for approximately 6 months now.

the new 6th issue is due to be released mid this week.

the reason that i am posting up is to offer people to get their rides featured in the magazine if the ride has been tweaked enough and they believe that it would be a good write up.

similarly, if there are any CJ cruises happeneing or if anyone from any part of australia is visiting a car show or cruise, the team at Custom Cars Online also pay for the photos that you take.

it would be great to see some more promotions ofr the CLUBCJ forums

as the site is free, they have been getting about thousands of hits every month and the number keeps growing.

so if anyone has any questions, please PM me or email the team at [email protected]

they pay for cruise pics?

ok, some ground rules need stating there re:photo ownership.

NOT for my benefit, I know those laws intimatly after the CatP incident.

I'll just inform about the legal question being raised.

If anybody is to be submitting photos of their car, they must have the prior permission of the copyright holder/owner of the photo. Just because their car is featured in the photo does not make the car owner the copyright holder/owner. That title belongs to the original photographer only.

I urge members to ask permission from the person who has taken the photo before any submissions or posting on any website. That includes any photos taken at cruises etc, even photos taken by the Club's official photographer.

We do not want a repeat of the CatP incident, nor any legal problems that could land the club or any of its members in hot water.

Thank you and have a nice day.

that is correct.

we ask that all people submitting photos sign a waiver to say that the pictures are their own ownership.

this applies for feature cars and for cruise pictures, etc

any more questions, please let me know

Perhaps I can get some photos of 33ASY's ride and get them sent over to this magazine.

His ride is modded enough lol And not just show. His RA is faster than a Evo X now... maybe not through corners as it lacks the X's better AWD system, but in a straight line it would.

both sound great.

if you would like to send me through the photos, then i am happy to get the moeny to you.

for cruises, we pay between $30 and $50 for the photos depending on how many there are and also the quality (a night time cruise with no flash and a little light is different to a set of photos with driving shots, wierd angles etc)

and for photos of someone elses car or by putting their car in touch with us, we give $10 as a finders fee.

let me know what you all think and please feel free to ask any more questions

Might I also say, people should show courtesy and ask if the owner of the car is interested in allowing the photos of their car to be published on a website. Nothing legal against it, but I'm sure everybody would like to be asked first.

I am going to give Chris some pics of NSW cruises. I would send everyone a PM but that would take forever :P

If anyone has any dramas, please PM me. I will be dropping them off on the 15th or so... I will ask that the numberplates be blanked out.

Anyways, don't want to upset anyone so please let me know. I think this is an awesome opportunity to get the clubs name out there.
