Do get started! I'd be intrested to hear what arguments those "customer service" muppets had to say.SIR-VRX wrote:exaltd wrote:Well, you do what you have to I guess to sell the car and present it at it's best
But they are bordering on Bullshit. Don't get me started on the massive arguement I had with MMAL head office regarding the HIDs and 15" brakes
MY10, between dealer and them that MY10 VRX had retained sunroof option and gained leather interior option. They had no idea or calling my dealer a liar.

looks good but =). but yeh, i only realised the other day.. it started raining and the front wipers came on and i was very impressed, then i looked out the back window and couldnt see a thing.. not very impressed..
could you please let me know if the Rain X improves visibility, might give it a go too!
Definately give the Rain-X a thumbs up! Got a 103ml bottle of the stuff, cut a 1/4 of a chux wipe to rub it on. Painters masking taped around the external windows over all the plastic/rubber bits (as rainx says it should not come into contact with non-glass stuff). I did all my windows, rear windshield and external wing mirrors. Waited to look hazey and then used the remaing 3/4 chux cloth to wipe it off and get the streaks out of the windows.
Tho I think I might need to do a second treat of the rear windshield. The sides are fine because they are almost vertical and the water beads off (even when I was hosing it, I was like "whoa! kewl!". The rear windshield is sloped so not as much beading off, but definately a dramatic improvement. Sydney is is for 2-3 days of rainy weather from monday onwards, so that will be the real test.

Pete,
yes RainX is Fantastic, Ive been using it for over 20yrs,
To help buff it off u can also use newspaper wadded up, just wet it a little or sprinkle some water on window and buff off. keep using fresh paper.
it is much easier to get off and than the early formula first released.
