Well, technically it wouldn't be electroplating if it's on plastic. There is a similar process, but it wouldn't be called electroplating. Perhaps they just use the work electroplating as it's the most common method used and people know it.

I really think that would look good against the Lightning blue. But, it is so expensive!! I think I might have to do it... in the name of originality!! As soon as the bank balance goes up

I am thinking of painting my fog light surrounds blue to match the bumper too...

i'm thinking how would an aspire look like in real life after blacking out the middle bumper.

anyone with an aspire/olympic ed tried it before ?

I think it'd look horrid. You can only have 2 color tones on the front. Once you go to 3 tones: White car + Chrome Grills + Black seperator, I think you'll be really queer looking.

Yeah I am with Ofey there. Exactly why I am about to sell my EVOX Bumper piece. I held it up there with my silver grille, and it looked horrid.

I was going to get it painted blue, but I am told that will look terrible too!!

I think I will have to spend my hard earned on those aspire grilles though, I like the chrome surrounds

I don't think it'll look too bad if you painted the evo nose blue actually. I'm waiting on some more funds to clear back to me before doing it. I'm going to deploy a color matched bumper nose piece.

Mine is different to the one you supply. It is more like Infinite's one where the number plate stays on the nose piece. I got it as I didn't want to relocate my numberplace as it is blue.

Maybe I need to keep it and get it painted after all

Heres a Bumper Cap which I'm looking at getting. I'd prefer a flat one, but this is all I have found so far. Once I chrome it, it should look good on the black Aspire.

hmmm thats true , tried photoshopping the middle bar black and it didn't look good.

Only way is to change the whole thing. Guess i'll have to bump this mod to the back for now lol

Thats the one I have. It sits quite good. I have no idea how it would look chromed. I really think Ofey's one would look better chromed. Also, the one you are looking at is quite flexible I don't know how the chrome would go when fitting to car.

I am a bit worried about painting it myself....

Chromed would look weird with those indentations. I'm trying to find one without them, if I can't I'll most likely get that one and see how it looks as is. Once I get the front lip it would match and won't look out of place.

Where did you get your one from lzy_eye and how much ?
