I can tell you that if you use non compliant seat covers on your vehicle and you are involved with a crash, the insurance company can void your insurance. So, its a easy choice really.
A lot of manufactures wont actually supply these seat covers as they cant afford the testing to make their seatcovers ADR compliant.
However, Mitsubishi offers seat covers, they are expensive BUT they only cover the centre section of the seat, not the bolsters where the airbags go.

Yes you have i think for longer too! well its finally kicked in and i've bought one.

As for the X-factor seat cover things i got a quote for my CH and was over $1000 so not interested lol bit too much IMO
