There are a couple of things that match the description of front lip.

The "fangs" in the front are called Front Air Dams and you get them off X-Factor. check this thread.

The front lip which will then join these 2 air dams are then called a C-Lip. Check this thread.

What is it you're after?

BTW, this thread is just for Mitsubishi OEM parts which you will find listed on the first page.

Yeah I meant to mention your lips too Ofey, but assumed (silly) that Jazz meant the vrx airdams. Either way you need them before the other lips will go on :)

Hi Ofey,

Sorry about the confusion.

I am after the OEM front and rear air dam's.

But if you don't have the OEM one's, than I guess ill get it from x-factor.

Also, how hard is it to install these air dam's? This may sound silly, but it looks like u can just clip them on or something like that.

Trust me, OEM ones are way too much

You can get a set of front air dams from x-factor for under $200AU shipped and painted

You should expect the mitsu ones to cost you in excess of $500 a piece.

As for installation, i believe 4 holes have to be drilled into the bumper and then cliped and or screwed on. They are made to OEM spec, so virtually either way if you buy the OEM ones or x-factor ones, you will have to drill into your bumper

X-Factor Design are a supplier to Mitsubishi Singapore. They make those and other bits for Mitsubishi themselves. So they are 100% identical to what you can get here at Mitsubishi.

Oh, fair enough.

Thanks for that.

Guess that is sorted, and price is damn sweet as well.

However the drilling part is fairly damn scary. I seriously don't trust myself. Might get a panel beater or body shop to install them.

They are not that bad to install... take your time, do one drill at a time. They include markers in the pack. It is pretty easy to do. Just have 2 people, makes it much much easier.

Anyways, we probably should move this discussion to the appropriate section. This is about OEM parts Ofey can order for you :)

In light of the new MY10 models all coming with lids and stuff, I'm working on getting you boys updated.

Apparently there is no reason why these shouldn't fit. It's a one for one replacement. Still we cannot be sure right? Look at the shape and look at your own and see if the clips line up.

i checked mine and yeah i dont think it'll fit cause the MY08 ES consoles are flat all the way to the back, where as in that pic, like the VRX console it sweaps up towards the back

So we'll conclude it'll only fit VR and above cars.

However, there will be one for the ES, without the "mound" at the end.
