mitch.honey, thanks for tips.

But what I realised with the es, is that its missing some features that I want in the VR, like dusk sensing head lights and a few other goodies.

But its damn tempting to go with the ES if they can dress it up like yours. Do you have any other pictures of your Lancer?

The ES also has less sound deadening than the others.

Also, no underbonnet deadening.

Just a little thing I discovered the other day

Welcome to the club also mate! Great to see new members!

Mine has the underbonnet sound deadening, I tried to take it out once to put in some LED windscreen washer things but i couldnt get the clips out!!

Or are you talking about the MY10 model not having sound deadening under the hood?

Nice car mate.

I might go for the low rise spoiler, how much did it cost you? Notice that you got some blue led's in the car as well, was that from the dealer as well?

I think the hard part for me would be deciding on the colour. Its either the Blue, Red, Gun Metal Grey or White.

Sir: Im pretty sure the US ones dont have the sound deadening for under the hoods, because i think i posted it up on project lancer a while ago and many of them where like wtf is that? LOL

jazz: I got ripped on my low rise spoiler, paid $550 for it, you should easily be able to get it for around $300 or even less. Blue lights are aftermarket, their just a couple of $20 12" neons i picked up from autobarn and installed myself. They just run off the cigarette lighter so they run all the time.

And, im telling you now, Blue, FOR THE WIN. Its so versitle and i was also tossing up between the red aswell, but im glad i went for the blue. The blue/black combo works really well on our cars

Gday mate.

Welcome to the club.

Reading your post to Tadz, i realised you are looking at getting the rear low rise spoiler. Well, you can get it at $315 from the dealer, and then painting/installation should be around $120-180 depending on where you go.

Hope you enjoy the club.

Also with the Low Rise spoiler, you dont have to worry about not seeing out the back window, its at the perfect height if you ask me. But ask my mum and its a completely different story lol. Depends on how tall you are really, im just hitting 6ft, and i can see over it perfectly, doesnt obstruct anything, but my mum is about 5.6ft and she complains that she cant see anything out the back
