you can buy special side window vents for the Lancer, XxLaNcErGTSxX has them on.
this eliminates the Helicopter Sounds when traveling at speed.
I knew it was caused by air pressure fluctuations so I guess my post was just an excuse to call it The Phantom Helicopter Phenomenon.
Good to know about the vents. I was wondering if they would eliminate the problem.

interesting fact, i've never had my heater on, not once... lol! max was 22 or 23 deg.
