Primed will probably be a pinkish colour, or a grey depending....
I have been told, that when you buy stuff painted it often has pits etc in the finish so you may need to sand before putting vinyl on it to ensure a smooth finish....

i don't think vinyl would be a good idea - too many curves, too many places where you couldnt use one piece so dust, water etc would get under it, not to mention the look of joins isn't the best.... paint all the way for an area like that (y).

Really?!? god I didn't know that one - strange then that EVERY cheap bodykit manufacturer makes fibreglass body parts!?!?
Bummer tho - was really looking like it'd be a winner this one... Have to find the equivalent in ABS plastic or other
But for those who don't give a crap bout insurance - There's something called "bumper paint" or something very similar to that... it's meant to simulate the grey-bumper sorta colour for different OEM models (ie toyota's bumper-grey would possibly be different to holden bumper-grey, so there's a holden one and a toyota one etc.)
U could possibly use some of this? it's the kinda effect u see on a lot of rear diffusers (esp. new holdens and fords, hell, even the EVO I think) Gives u the 'grey plastic diffuser' look, even on a fibreglass one...
We can't wrap this in vinyl tadz - dunno if anyone could - too many fins etc sticking out...

dang i missed this thread.
yeh when i got mine (primed) it was dark grey.
then painted by fren to gloss black preference... hole can take 3"round tip max.. any bigger, will start hitting the piece
Didnt know that fibreglass bumper is illegal.. oh well.
Honestly, not a big fan of fibreglass, as they are fragile in winter.. however i just needed it as its the look i wanted no other plastic version of it~

Majority of the time Police wont fine you for it unless your in an accident and an emergency services personal cuts themselves on your smashed up fibreglass kit. When fibreglass breaks it is very sharp and can do some serious damage and the glass shrouds is as bad as asbestos.

Depends, you can pick what colour you want it.
If you want it the Lancer Tarmac Black, the colour code for it will be X42
Check out this thread for paint codes...
