CiNcity Designs is in the process of a complete redesign of the internals of the Mitsubishi X cars including the base model Lancers with out the HID projectors and the Evolution cars with HID projectors. Our concept X headlights will be a futuristic design that will be a direct replacement for what is inside the factory headlights, but still keep the desired function of the headlights. Every concept X headlight we produce will include Bi-xenon HID projectors, LED daytime running lights, and LED amber blinkers to make sure they are legal around the world. This project will be the most complex design we have ever built and can be made in either full carbon fiber or a body painted color (or both!). ~Click "read more" for more details on how you can get yourself a set before anyone else!~

Where's the highbeam!?

Looks like the LED day lights are in the side vents at the base of the bumper.... not in the headlight unit. So I am guessing the final product will not look exactly like the Concept one shown in the pictures.

The highbeam is probably like other proper HID setups, there would be a little shutter inside the projector housing that drops away for high beam, allowing the rest of the light to get out.

These were the HID solution I was talking about in another post. I've arranged to be the Australian Distributor of these when they come out. In fact my car will be the first in Australia to be equipped with one of these when they do come. Poured in the investment fund for this guy. Some Evo X guy will compete with me to be the first to have these strapped on but I've already ordered one and will distribute for Australia. They not only do Evo X headlights but also the Nissans and just about anything else.

We will be requiring people to pay for these in a kind of a round about fashion. You pay for an extra set of lights when you order them. When you ship back your own head lights, we'll refund you the cost of the head lights, so that you have no downtime. (imagine not having your head lights for a few days!?).

The head lights are Bi-Xenon so when you flick your highbeams, they just increase the intensity. I can't reveal pricing at the moment but I assure you with all things through me are going to be cheaper than you expect. They will also have a set of angel eyes in the circular enclosure of the HID .

Can't keep a good thing down I guess.

Why does all this cool stuff come out when i have no money =(

Ive they bring out the concept tail lights, i will literally go to the bank and take out a loan to get them.

Although its on the sportback, would be awesome to see if they could mod the standard lights to look like thesee....

I can only say that more cool things are on the horizons. Manufacturers in China and Taiwan are constantly coming out with more things. The line to draw is what you'd like to do and what won't you.

I've never considered a turbo, never considered recaro seats, never considered aftermarket wheels.

The thing is you must have a plan of action of what you want to do and take up offers when they are around. And hold of on spur of the moment purchases. IF there's a group buy on something you know you'll eventually do, BEG BORROW or STEAL and get it done. You won't get it cheaper by yourself.

I set out with a plan of what I wanted my car to have. I'm about 70% done. Still outstanding:
1. HID Headlamps
2. Lowered by Eibach springs
3. HUD unit
4. RA Steering wheel
5. Galant Fortis Badge
6. Rear Diffuser
7. AFM overide
8. GReddy Exhaust
9. Full Size Spare Tyre
10. RRM Advanced Timing Module

Almost there. After those, I would say I am done.
