just an interesting note... i've done a very thorough test, on fuel consumption vs power.

tested with RON 91/92, RON 95, RON 98. same driving conditions.

the absolute best KM per L, is RON 95, believe it or not... not 91/92.

So thats...normal unleaded 95?
E10 Unleaded has 10% ethanol blend, some blends have a higher octane than 95
& Premium Unleaded is 98.

For anyone interested this is the current market price for fuel in A$ per barrel, excluding distribution etc.

You got to think the oil companies aren't going to like the gap between unleaded and crude oil getting bigger & you really aren't going to be happy if you have a diesel car!

i just paid 98.9c can it go any lower!!

I use BP, tried the 91, then 95, then 98. All of them were like at a 90 - 95% drain before I refueled.

Currently use Premium 95. The best one they have, 98, doesnt get me good KM's per L though. Unless I lowered the compression on my engine to 9 (stock being 10), then I'd have to use 98.
