Ralliart Shifter in NA Lancer

So I know that the centre console is the same size between the RA and NA, but does anyone know if you could take out the NA shifter below and put the RA one in?

I'm only curious as I like the look of the RA shifter and would love to do the swap if possible. I know that the drive type switch at the bottom won't work if it does swap, just purely wanting to do from an aesthetic point of view.

Good question
I suggest you grab some service manual and start some research.
My gut feeling is it won't happen as the SST is Wildly different bit of hardware then the CVT

You would need the whole shift mechanism. The selector cable will be the show stopper if they are different you won’t be able to do it

I'll do a bit more research - was up half the night searching hahaha

What about just the trim plate? That's probably the main thing. If that fits, I could do a bit of a DIY to connect the boot up to the shifter. That way the shifter can still move in its normal pattern and I don't have to swap anything out.

Looking forward to this if anything comes up. Was also thinking of changing the shifter trim area, or adding the shifter boot, but then ran into problems with the auto shifter not moving or not being able to see the drpn signals. You could always look at the main dash but thats also a bit shifty.
