Dash board rattle

Postby Aussiesausage » Sun Jan 26, 2020 5:10 pm

Anyone know if it's possible to see/get up into the dash without removing it? I got a mad rattle somewhere and it's doing my head in. But I don't have the time to remove the whole dashboard to access underneath it. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance before I go insane :lolhit:

Don't like your chances
The dash comes apart pretty easy
I can have the dash apart and the stereo out in few minutes
The centre console is another story

I have pulled my head unit out a billion times, the rattle seems to be coming from up the front of the dash closer to the front windscreen/ side air vent part. I should of clarified that a bit better sorry. I don't know what it could be.

Mmm
I wish I could offer some words of wisdom
It maybe that something small has fallen inside the air vents
I have seen that before where a young inquisitive child has flicked a pencil inside the air vent and cause all sorts of noises.
Also seen the air vents very loose and rattle round and drive you.up the wall

My driver's side air vent is a little loose, but refuses to pull out, how so they come out? Are they just clipped in or does other parts need to come out as well? Cheers for your help mate
