yeah cheers, but I may have to de-badge the rear now! Its an ES at heart...

I don't like the look of the perforated leather on the seats, so I will opt for full leather, all black. Hope it is not too much of a pain to do the door skins and rear seat outers etc...

If you have not done so, get some tweets and do what I did... sounds a lot better in the front now !

IMO I don't like it. Nothing wrong with it as such, but Mitsubishi Motor's corporate logo went from Red to Silver/Chrome a few years ago, so I myself think it's a little weird to have it Red again. But each to their own :wink:

I am a bit iffy with it too... even though it may be 'ricey' to do, I am thinking about making a super-thin real carbon fibre emblem decal and the illuminated perspex-emblem sandwich !!!

I tell you I could use a hand one day planning out a sound system. I will happily spend about $2500, and I would like an aftermarket 7" dvd, tv, gps type system, single 12" sub and a good 5 channel amp to run the sub and 4 speakers. Any Brissy members with a decent set-up like to show me what can be done sometime?

I like the sound of the sandwich'd logo

I am experienced with audio installs. I myself have a 12" single sub in my own made box. Also have some component splits in the front with tweeters in factory location. Soon to put the same in the rear. Hard part is locating the rear tweeters :S

I also did an awesome system in my mate's Tiida. That had 3 amps, a sub and component splits. Was awesome! I'll get some pics up of it.

Sir VRX,
thanks, yeah I will be definitely being seeking your assistance.

I had a simple and cheap axle-back muffler added. This deletes the wheezy fuel tank sized muffler and tiny pipe.

I went with mild steel, redback offset sports muffler and a double-skinned stainless tip. Total cost $250.

The start-up note is much, much better and not too much droning at speed.

This is an interim fix, until I get my twin space rear diffuser. Then I will have a split Y or T pipe from the flange and twin tiny offsets and same stainless tips... Should prove to be exciting...!

I am not sure if the spats idea works for me yet, going to let it have a few days/week and review... Removed my ES badge, good call for those who have espoused that mod !!!!

Now, I love the look of this !!!!!
