Postby SidwickTheSloth » Fri May 25, 2018 10:00 pm

Just got handed this sub and amps for free so I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if it'll work with my 2010 lancer and how hard it will be? *rofl*

What head unit do you have in your car at the moment?? Rockford??
Two options are to upgrade the Head unit to an after market to allow you to have rca inputs for the amplifier, or wire up a high to low rca convertor.

Here is a high to low convertor.

If you are changing the oem head unit it is a little challenging and required steering wheel control boxes and harnesses.

No matter what you installed , make sure you put at least a fuse in to the wiring , and keep the fuse with in 12 inches of the battery
Failure to do so will give results similar to the grenade effect as shown below

So long as you have a half decent HU that has got output to drive the subs as previously mentioned there should be no dramas
