Damn, I’m assuming it’s a fairly invested car considering all the livery and such

Re: What did you do today?
Installed my new bonnet latch with micro switch, so now if the bonnet is popped I get a warning on my dash!

Re: What did you do today?
It was quicker than getting a new PM! LOL
Remove the plastics, unhook the pull cable, 3x 10mm bolts and its off.
The wire goes through a hole behind the latch then its do up the bolts, plug in the wire, hook up the cable and put the plastic back on. Done in 5 minutes if you rush it. Such and easy DIY.
Only disappointment is unlike the doors or boot it doesn't beep at you if you lock the car and leave the bonnet popped.
But I do get a warning when I start the car to 'Close Hood', was it worth $65, I'll let you know. But I was surprised how dirty the old one was... which I'll now be selling on eBay in the coming weeks LOL

That's one sweet mod man! All these big & small mods make the Lancer an even more fun car to drive.
And I gotta say I love the photo in your sig! There's just something about it hahaha.
I think it's the background view, looks like a scene out of a movie.

That’s pretty sweet actually, we need one for the boot actually, many times I’ve gone over bumps and heard the boot smack down hahahah

Re: What did you do today?
Speaking of the boot, I tested the old 'leaving the key in the boot' trick. Made sure the window was down to reach the release if needed. Locked the car then remotely opened the boot. As soon as the boot shut with the keys inside the lights flashed and it beeped unlocking the doors. Nice safety feature in case you have the keys in a bag or they drop out a top pocket.

Re: What did you do today?
Well funny enough I think that’s only a luxury to the higher range models as when I had my car in warranty work they gave me a 2016 ES, I accidentally left my keys in the boot in my work bag and closed it whilst the car was locked, had to wait an hour for road side assistance to unlock it
