He is saying they should, and it used to be they'd give you the sticker for nix and then a discount, especially if there was an address and phone number on it. I used to just keep going to the same place and pretty much doing their job for them and the Saturday sales staff would repay me with staff discount (usually cost+ 10-20%) on parts (4 spark plugs for 12 bucks? thanks!), and the tyre workshop I'd go to, I would pretty much do everything but fit the tyre and balance them and they'd discount my tyres by 20 - 30 bucks a tyre.

Damn.. that’s pretty crazy.. now a days you get free stickers if you want, unless you have a big following different brands tend to take you under their wing

Social Media changed a lot of the "system" now if you have 50k+ "followers" they may take you seriously, just an average joe off the street with 200 odd friends "pfft yea right mate"

Yep that’s right, some “car gurus” on social media are making a nice profit for the sponsors they have, crazy! I say I’m happy to rep any sticker in which I think the company is good!

Was at Willowbank a couple of weeks ago for the Supercars, the cost for some of the merchandise is out of control. Around $60 for a polo top and look at all the logos you're walking around with promoting their sponsors. I think its almost backwards, they should be paying us to wear them. Just as they should give discounts if we agree to have decals on our cars to promote the tyres or anything else.

I want to get this one, just to be different.
