Now not so much a cj related issue but more of a driving it without paying stampduty.
Got it transfered finally to my own plates this arv but didnt realise I didnt have enough to pay stamp on it. My issue is I gotta take her in to the body shop tomorrow.
Any issues I can run into popo wise?

Re: Stamp duty?
Probably best to ring the appropriate authority and ask them for the correct answer.

Re: Stamp duty?
when it was transferred I told her I couldnt afford it and her answer was "you still need to put the plates on the car". So my assumption is that its "fine".

Re: Stamp duty?
I would say that if you went to pay transfer and stamp duty that it passed and you wont need to do another road worthy.
Stamp duty is required on every car you buy (unless new from a dealership where its covered by the dealer). Its the governments way of making a bit of money off the sale of the car.
Where did the car come from?
As for “popo” wise, Driving a car without plates is illegal. Whether you choose to drive it with a different state number plate is up to you. Providing the different state plate is registered, it is still fine to drive.
