Well the time has come I think.... could be getting rid of the CJ, wanting to move on to something a bit more powerful.

Awesome mechanical condition, 150xxxkms, clutch and transmission very tight
A few wear and tear scratches
Clear coat damage on boot and a tiny bit on the roof
Ralliart intake
K&N filter
X-force Varex axle back exhaust wired to a switch in cabin
Led Parker’s and licence plate lights
Ding on bonnet which was there when I purchased

All in all this car is in great condition, it’s just a few cosmetic isssues.
It runs awesome for me and I get 650-750kms out of a tank consistently.
Interior is in great condition, no tears or rips on seats, and no dings or scratches to any plastics.

Please, make me an offer as I am willing to negotiate, and not completely sure how much she’s worth.

Not bad! I was thinking myself of getting an older Impreza wrx cheap just for fun as my lancer is my beloved daily! But forester would defs give you more “inmpfff”

Yeah I’d love a WRX but it’s too risky with the whole p plate situation
I’ve never driven a turbo forester yet so we will see how it goes!

hard to get decent money for cjs especially older ones yours with the description and kms is probably going to be in the range of 2.5k-3.5, 4K if you can stretch it

its pretty sad to see the market these days

Idk what states that’s in but for the KMS it should be 6-9k that’s the average for car sales though

Yeah having a quick look through Carsales and gumtree for my exact model, manual and same kms, I’ve seen for about 6-9k too

I paint $15k for my 09 VRX 3 years ago, today the insurance value is a bit over $8k. I could probably get more depending on the market.

But I got mine at a dealer so the price was probably a bit higher than private price, not to mention the loan repayments. So when paid for it I will have payed out over $20k. But unless you have the cash or can get a very short 1 year loan (much higher payments) there isn't much you can do about that repayment costs.

The kms are generally what seem to be the overall key factor to buy/selling CJs, once they hit the 100km mark they just drop off quite a bit

Mine at just over 120k feels barely broken in!

I know some buy new every 3 years, so they avoid the high service that come soon after when the car is out of warranty.

But many new cars now have capped service charges, KIA is for 7 years with a warranty all that time!
