2011 Mitsubishi Lancer SX

Postby JDM_DAN » Sun Jan 14, 2018 11:12 am

Hey guys and girls, just picked up the misses' new car yesterday. Drove 300km out of town to pick it up. Drives nice. She is planning on modding it, just the basics for now, exhaust, tint, wheels, springs etc Only photos I have as of yet, I will be giving it a wash and cut and polish later on today so will take the camera out and get some better photos tomorrow!

Looks nice.

Too hot here today to do anything outside, mid 30's and over 75% humidity. But I washed my VRX yesterday at 5:30 am and finished off the wheels today.

Note the word "officially" in the above. Does this mean you have gained a position with officialdom?

If so congratulations!

Using a Canon SX20IS! Pretty basic camera but does the job!

Had a go at fixing the sad looking sun damaged headlights. Came out sweet!

I have really bad OCD when it comes to cars. I have owned nothing but clean cars in the past so a few things on the Lancer have been annoying me! The paint is stuffed all over the top of the car, can't do much about that so fixing everything I can! Having the wing painted soon but gave the wheel centre caps a bit of a sand and paint, slightly different colour but don't notice most of the time. :lolhit:

I've got some slight sun marks on my 09 VRX with stock head lights.

How did you clean them?

Those painted wheel caps look great. Thought about doing mine years ago, but now I've seen yours might have to give it a go!

800grit wet sandpaper, 2000 grit wet sandpaper then polished them with a electric polisher. Did that a few times on them. After the first go just do the 2000 grit wet and polish a few times.
