This is true, this is posted on the add for the LED marker

"Sick of those standard clear side repeaters? Then this is what you have been looking for! These are quality aftermarket smoked side repeaters (DEPO), which meet Australian Design Rules (E-Mark), which means they are legal. This is a great upgrade to give your car that cool look!"

***EDIT*** this is written on both ads, same seller***

I've had the LED ones on my car for a while now and they still work fine.

I didn't add any resistors for them, but I did already have many resistors in my LED headlights and tail lights to fix hyper-flashing.

I have the standard smoked ones from that seller on Ebay and they have been working fine in the car for years.

I just used some Nite-Shades I had left over, couple of light coats so its still legal and almost 3 years on not been stopped, that included an interstate drive through QLD, NSW, VIC and SA.
