Re: What did you do today?
Replaced the tail light bulbs in the VR-X, damn fiddly little things, but easier to get to than the stop tails/indicators on the corners...

Discovered last night the fusion pf4004 2400w 4 channel amp thats 1 week old installed in the lancer went kaput.
Sigh
Chased up dealer today.need to remove it and get it sent away. Soon as they give me paperwork for it.
Keepeing my eyes peeled for a resonably priced Alpine 4 channel amp with minimum of 75w rms per channel out out. 2nd hand will be fine.
Yay

Re: What did you do today?
Spoke to dealer they have emailed Fusion and myself and now im waiting on Fusion Australia to relpy and give me the postal address for them to return the kaput amp to.
Sigh
Very disappointed with the PF4004 2400w amp.
If i had of been driving the amp hard for hours and hours on end and make it go kaput then i would have expected it to do so.
But man its not even running at half volume and been in for a week and goes kaput
Hopefully mine was just a dud one and the replacement will be fine.
Sigh
Should have just went and bought an Alpine straight up and never had an issue. Love Alpine amps. Magic kit

Re: What did you do today?
Car being serviced tomorrow. So washed and polished, vacuumed interior and boot.
Let them know this owner cares. Will insist on being within sight of the car when it being serviced,
as passed 2 services have had the car goes in fine, returned with parts missing and strange things happening.
Don't trust them anymore but unfortunately, stuck with them for another 3 free services.
Could go elsewhere and forfeit $780.

Re: What did you do today?
Had my 135k service today, over $450 and I've got a TOG air filter ($70) on the way from eBay next week. Sorry to hear of your issues.
Not had a problem at Maroochydore on the Sunshine coast. They even give you a free coffee as you wait to have your car checked in then a lift to work or the local shopping centre and pick you up when its ready.

Re: What did you do today?
Damn man! They saw you coming buddy and rubbed their hands together!
I got my 135k service done and they also gave the lancer a wash and vac and was under $300
Was about $275 from memory

Re: What did you do today?
Most dealerships back home give you a courtesy car back home, (built in to the cost of services I believe), some offer the shuttle service within 5k of the shop. Was hilarious to see the Ford advert about it when I first moved here.

Actual car has only traveled 7,209ks

Re: What did you do today?
Removed the pesky leaves and leaf litter that accumlates under the boot, near the struts. Amazing how it builds up and can turn into compost! Rarely use the boot and don't lift it when I wash it.

Re: What did you do today?
I always clean around the boot and bonnet when washing my car, its good practice and a way to check for any issues.
This time I decided to walk to the shops, they picked me up later around lunch. It was a good plan and not that bad but stopped in a few shops on the way to cool down on my 3km walk, but I probably walked just as much around the shopping centre anyway.
Got all the stuff back in my boot...

Re: What did you do today?
Did you find where the water came from that was all thru your boot?

Re: What did you do today?
Not really, but there are 2 main suspects.
a) the wet weather and the other night it was open for a short time while I got the umbrella out, maybe it got wetter than I though?
b) the turf I had in there for about 1/2 and hour, shouldn't have been an issue as I had a tarp lining it and it wasn't dripping wet.
The plan is to check it in a month or so, or after the next big rain event and see how it is.
Its probably good practice to clear out your boot every few months just to make sure the spare is up to the correct pressure and for anything else.

Re: What did you do today?
Yesterday went the Gold Coast and on the way back spotted this idiot on the M1 Burpengary at 5:44pm doing a 'bit' over the speed limit.
Now using the original footage I figure the rego is 473CA, which is a 2008 Suzuki GSX1400.
