Vic Club CJ cruise September Saturday the 23rd, 2017

When: Saturday the 23rd of September, meet at starting location (McDonalds Eastlink Southbound, can either enter from Eastlink or if avoiding toll road can enter from Dalmore drive off Ferntree Gully road) from 9:30am for a 10:00am start. If you don't want to cruise but just meet up that is more than welcome.

Where: Google map of cruise route

• Starting at McDonalds Eastlink Southbound head to Warburton via Emerald and Gembrook.
• Regroup in Warburton for lunch or coffee etc.
• Head to Mount Dandenong via Seville and Monbulk.
• Finish up at Skyhigh lookout.

Please note that the finish at Skyhigh Mount Dandenong cost $6 per car load to enter. A free alternative finish can be used at Kalorama Park lookout, this can be decided on the day.

All up it's about a 2 hour 19 minute drive broken into approximately 1 hour legs.

Please note that this is the first day of school holidays so traffic could be heavy, drive sensibly and safely to your abilities, and as this is being advertised on ClubCJ.net club rules apply (see ClubCJ cruise rules).

Just a reminder that this will be happening in 2 weeks time, clear the date/time for a leisurely cruise through the Yarra Ranges.

Even if you just want to meet and say "Hi" there will be time before the cruise, just be at the start point at McDonalds Southbound off Eastlink before 10:00am.

There is nothing booked and no part of the cruise is time critical so we can take as long as wanted, the cruise itself is even optional.

It's a good time to check your car is safe, some of the roads are fast and technical.
Check your tyre condition and pressures, brakes are in good working order and all fluids are topped up.

Final bump/reminder, 2 days to go.

I'll aim to be down at McDonalds Eastlink Southbound slightly early. Just look for my Black Sportsback with aftermarket wheels, DRL's and short antenna (car parks not too large).
