Hello everyone!
I'm Hans from Singapore. I'm currently in Sydney to finish up on my uni and just bought a Lancer as I've always wanted one. Unfortunately Lancers cost $100k+++ from where I come from so I'm pretty lucky I chose to come to Australia for my studies. Currently keeping the car clean other than a change in exhaust as I have to sell the car by the end of 2018.
Btw, does anyone have any recommendations for night drives around Sydney Area?
Regards,
Hans

Suggest you fit a RA inlet snorkel as well as the exhaust. OEM item at $175 new, cheaper second hand and will cause you no hassells.
Both those mods will give you a more responsive and sweeter running car. Evan better with a Merlin tune.
You'll find many threads here regarding both these items
Before your time, my cousin Jack Kenneison used to be president of the rally club in Singapore.
Picture below shows my humble effort. Also Whiteline upper strut bar.

welcome to the club! i wouldn't know much my self but apparently national park is a real well known place for car goers, i haven't been there myself but i'm quite sure it's notorious for "hoons"

Welcome Mate! im from around the sydney area and there are plenty of drive depending what type of driver you are like!
if you like long, quite but straight drives around Kenthurst is good, low speed limit but a soothing drive. if you want something with more corners best head up towards the blue mountains, amazing drive up there, stop in a small town for lunch then head home.
Yeah sydney area has become notorious... the 1% ruining it for the rest of us. minute it started getting hot i went over my car 110% to make sure there arnt any defects. mate of mine got defected for rims, the same rims that passed inspection when it was imported from japan...
Best advice mate, do simple yet legal mods, even simple things like a HID conversion is a defect unless you have washers and such.

Thanks for the recommendations guys! I'm gonna grab a RA snorkel on wednesday before doing a trip up to melbourne over the weekend amidst busy school periods.
