i use to play NLHE and PLO for a living right around the Moneymaker boom, but priorities changed in the last 2-3 years and slowly moved away from full time cause it was just taking up too much of my life. But i do like to play occasionally online but nothing like i use too.

were you playing ranked? i dont remember playing with annoying little kids very much at all, pretty well all comp. i have over 350hours logged on steam too

yeah mate still playing just clocked 1000+ hours and now sitting at rank DMG, although i did just derank from LE a couple of days ago...
i use to play CS back in the old beta days up until cs:source and then took a long time off till a mate at work got me back into competitive play and now im just addicted, hate the game so much but cant uninstall lol

Yea I used to smurf a lot though with some other friends around GN1 which is where the annoying kids were. I personally floated between SMFC and GE which were actually pretty good communication wise apart from the occasional dude who could only play de_dust2 when you're mid match into cache or something. You'd get a younger guy (legit 12 yr old) up there occasionally but they were usually pretty good. It's the ones that spout memes instead of calls that shit me lol.

Haven't played in a long while though. Kinda miss it but really don't have the time anymore.

I think it's just because I got to play with my friends while teaching them/being a little competitive.

I used to play League a lot but none of my mates really caught on and if they did they were nowhere near my ranking so we couldn't play ranked together.

The last time I played CS was the wild west update (R8 patch). That was... something else.

community is toxic but have noticed since playing at this level its actually a lot better. lower levels are just trolls. i have come close to uninstalling but just cant bring myself to do it lol
