I just bought some grey carpet from ebay. It matched pretty close so i only used it in the center part and cut the OEM carpet for the two sides. Try and get some light timber. Dont use 2x4 pine lol. Its just too heavy and will slow you fown to an extent.

True - i can get some non structural plywood, i think my work does 3mm in the small sheets, all i need really.

might order some of that carpet soonish. should look good by the end haha

Yeah 900 no tires. Ones ive got still have majority of tread. Didnt see a need for new ones yet

Defs got 2 free wheel alignments/ tire roations, and half price from then on for 5 years. Not too shabby

for the mitsi badge in the boot, do you think i could make a mitsi badge out of ply, cover it in blue carpet and simply cut a slot for it in the existing boot floor?

Yer you could do i guess. Just a matter of ensuring that it is going to be structurally sound for stuff to be placed on top of it. You could always just knock up the full boot to fit the 18" mags that sit on your car now.

Your call though. I just think it's double handling.
