Hi all,
I bumped into this interesting Android application which apparently will let you reset the fluid deterioration date.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... tz50&hl=en
Seems to be country locked on the Play Store. Anyone played arouind with this yet ?
I've found a good write up for CVT filter change (Outlander 4B12) with screenshots from the application

Re: Anyone tried CVTz50 ? CVT diagnostics data
I purchased the app (CVTz50) and tried it on the Outlander. (4B12 Engine / FJ011e CVT) Works perfect with my ELM 327 v1.5 adapter. Can connect and check CVT Data. Hopefully should be able to reset fluid deterioration date Should probably work in a lancer, someone should try.
Re: Anyone tried CVTz50 ? CVT diagnostics data
How old is the Outlander? The newer Outlanders use the updated 4J12 engine.
I might add a pic of my car once I style the exterior a bit .

My Outlander is MY11 (ZH) model so 4B12. been driving around while monitoring on the app. it connects ok with my ELM 327 v1.5 BT adapter. Play store description mentions the following -
- Supports Nissan Murano Z50/Z51, partial support of other vehicles equipped with Jatco CVT – Nissan Teana, X-Trail, Qashqai, Juke, Note, Tiida, Sentra, Wingroad; Mitsubishi Outlander, Lancer; Renault Koleos and others
It's seems very popular on Russian forums for Nissan & Mitsubishi cars. Found a thai video of someone hooking it up to their Lancer EX. Alot of these cars would use the same or similar cvt tranmission models in many cases and its standard OBD2 protocol. Not all clone ELM 327 adapters work, best to stick with v1.5 ones.
