Color Cluser Indicator Sound

Just discovered a nice feature of the color Outlander cluster I just installed.

Going through the settings I found you can increase the volume of the indicator sound. So those who find it hard to hear them at times the can be adjusted.

Basically you have the normal setting (1) or louder (2).

Almost worth getting just for that!

Haha!! The only thing I hate about the sounds of my RA is the reversing beeps!!

I know on my car it has this fuction that can be choosen via the mode button (MY12 monochrome amber cluster), the alternate sound is really high pitched.

I'm guessing it was added later as I remember reading that it could be done with MY13 via the touch screen (possibly only MMCS).

Not sure but I thing the additional sound comes through the speakers, I did turn of the radio and it was still there but that the case with the BT for the phone as far as I know.

Yeah it would be nice to turn of or change the different sounds, worse is the door is open. Would be nice to bong for say 5 seconds then go off.

So the RA makes a sound when in revers, is this just in the car or like trucks make when reversing so others can here it?
So easy to add a revers beeper, pretty sure the likes of SCA or eBay have kits you just wire in a weather proof speaker which is under the back of the car.

the sst beeps inside the car to let you know that its in reverse (apparently the tone changes if it doesnt go into gear properly too).
i just find it super annoying as when i get in to drive its just a constant series of beeps. bing bing bing, you turned the key on, bing bing bing bing bing, the door is open, bing bing im doing a service check, beep beep beep you are reversing out of the driveway.

too many things making unnecessary noises.

Easy way to stop it, only start the car when you've closed the doors and everyone is buckled up.

Oh and one annoying thing with the new cluster is the 'See You' when you turn off the engine, really wish you could change that.

Where can u turn it up? I know you can change to different pitch but I don't see where u can turn it up??

When you get the settings menu up on the cluster there is one setting that looks like the blinker triangle, left and right. The options are 1 or 2. Mine was set on 1, I changed it to 2 just to see what was going on and the sound is different. Almost like a 2nd blinking sound but it is much more noticeable and you're not gonna miss it and leave them on.
