Good to hear you've got some positive progress. 100ml in 50km is a lot I'd get them to do something now before it gets worse. From someone who knows oil leaks/usages don't tend to fix them selves.
I know you need a certain amount of trust when it comes to service history, some mechanics have been caught out not doing work in the past, you have to trust what they write in the little book is what was done.

i am the second owner.
and the first owner didn't service through Mitsubishi and who they went to didn't stamp the service book and that can void warranties. but the dealer i bought the car from and sent it to get fixed two months later said he sent it to Mitsubishi for a service (never fixed the problem) to VALIDATE the warranty but the Mitsubishi dealer who "serviced it" didn't put it in the system or stamp the book.
i still love my car and id drop a new engine in it before i got rid of it. but this issue shouldn't be on me.

New update so the consumption test showed that I lost more than 500ml in around 1000km and my local Mitsubishi dealer sent the details off to Mitsubishi they then asked for more tests to be done. I took it in on Tuesday for the tests and they did a compression test. Cylinder 1 and 4 are low and in order to fix the issue they will have to replace the block. They are now in contact with the Honda dealer for service history so fingers crossed that the service history is correct.
Ouch cant imagine how frustrating this would be! I would of lost my mind by now... Fingers crossed they get it sorted and pay for the lot! this is the problem these days every time you buy a second hand car your putting trust into the owner/dealer and 9/10 they lie through their teeth to get your money!

so testing on my vehicle showed i was losing about 500ml of oil in about 1000km also had low compression in 2 cylinders...
so they sent my engine off for assessment and posted a warranty claim.
mitsubishi responded saying that the engine isnt covered under warranty due to the service history not being completed and that i need most of my engine reconditioned.
but Mitsubishi Australia out of good will are going to pay for parts!!!
i just have to pay for labor.
and i should get my car back in a week or two after not having in for three weeks!
