Postby luke_1993 » Wed Jun 03, 2015 4:57 pm

Hey everyone, I need some help on which cj lancer to get.
Im tossing up between the es and vr...the vrx is a bit out of my price range. Now my question is...which one should i get?? Im leaning more towards the vr because of the fog lights and volume controls on the steering wheel etc..!

Any help would be appreciated guys and gals :)

the volume audio controls on the steering can be bought as an A$140 part and retrofitted.

A lot of things on the CJ Lancer are plug and play, however if I was in your position I would go the VR as it has some nice features as well a lip spoiler and side skirts as well as fog lights!

It is your choice, you can pretty much just purchase these parts and install them yourselves as I said a lot of these are plug and play so you can install them on an ES! :)

I got an ES, and the dealership fitted a few of the extras for me before delivery. Got the side skirts, spoiler, and steering wheel buttons all on it from the get go. How much extra is the VR? might be worth seeing if the dealer can add the extras you want with a good deal on the ES

as what andrew said everything is plug and play the VR is sporty :) and does have some nice features compared to the ES

u can pick up a VRX cheap if u shop around if u wanted to go abit more sporty like bucket sport seats better sound system if u have the RF bit more better body kit etc depends on wht u are after Smile

I decided on the VRX as it had more toys even though I could have got a newer base model for the same money.

Depends on how much you can afford to spend.

Wow fast response from everyone :) im in canberra and for a vrx
with low k's is about $12k and i have about $7k to $8k! I think im going to go with the vr. Now if the vr comes with a lip spoiler is it possible to take it off and put a vrx spolier on?
