Picking up a conversion kit from a '12 vr platinum. Can anyone quickly confirm this will bolt up to a 4b12 vrx motor?

There's a wreckers up at the top-end of Sandgate Rd. Boondall that was wrecking a black 2013 VRX... don't know if it's still there.

Won't be as cheap as 600 for everything though. They'd probably charge that for the box alone lol. I'm getting literally everything. Just basically want to know if it's the same manual box from vr to vrx. I'll look into that one though if this falls through. Cheers

The only issue I can imagine is if there is a size difference where they bolt on to a 2L engine as opposed to a 2.4L engine.
You know that you have really got to someone when they invest personal time into tracking you down all over the internet.

You know who you are :)

Well ive officially ordered the kit now. I havent ordered the engine yet, so ill have a good nosy once i get the box and i guess that will determine whether i can get a 4b11 or 12, although im strongly biased towards wanting the 12 of course.
Ill throw my results up in case anyone else is wondering in the future, and ill probably write a DIY on a manual conversion too.
Thanks for the help guys :)

Haha yea ill try to make it as friendly as possible.
Just talking to the guy now and apparently theres a few things ive mentioned that hes just checked and cant find/already sold so ill still have to chase a few things up - but the hard things to find are already there. Hes lowering the price a bit, he has the box/clutch master/slave, shafts and mount. Just have to chase up the smaller things at a local wreckers or on here if i can.

if you wanted a 4b12 and manual, the easiest thing to do would have get the 4b12 and gear box, and convert in the on go. although good luck with the conversion, hope all works out

For future reference, all manual CY chassis boxes have the same mitsi part number, so should be the same in all models and bolt straight up. CZ is different.
