Quick run down...
We have an '09 (I forget which mth) ES sedan (activ). Wife doesn't like the driver's seat, says it's too hard.
Have done some reading/searching, but currently in Sydney and heading back home to our small town tomorrow, and runnin' out've time to find an answer
Was at a wreckers today here in the big smoke, and he has (leather) seats from an LX comin' up for sale soon - will be telling him yes/no tomorrow before heading home.
Are the seats from the LX more comfortably than the ES's, or they just the same except leather?
Which breed/year(s) Lancer would have comfortable seats - hopefully with lumbar support, that would bolt straight in to the ES CJ please? Not sure if ours has side bags, couldn't tell, but did see a circle about the size of a 20c peice above the seatbelt on the pillar

My MY14 ES was lacking in lumbar support, the Activ seemed better (but maybe I was used to the seat by then... I think the leather is a little firmer, but just feels more 'luxurious' I guess. I haven't tried them, but Sleeper reckons the RA seats are the best of the lot - better side support...

Hey there, the leather seats from an LX will fit, and you will get seat airbags which your ES misses out on (airbags are prewired front and back), I believe the leather seats are slightly more supportive ring they are a premium option, however I have also heard the nose supportive front seats are the RA seats, they are not leather but.

I absolutely love my leather seats, it was one of the reasons why I bought my lx not only that, seat warmers are the greatest! you should definitely invest!

I swapped my ES seats for LX seats. Isn't a major difference in comfort. Tiniest bit more side support but nothing like vrx seats.
Make sure that the airbags in the seats he has didn't go off.

Also, in addition to my post above. If you want heated seats, check if you actually have the wiring for it.
My 2008/09 ES doesn't have the wiring for it yet newer models do (some cars come pre-equipped with wiring suited for certain applications so all you need is to hook them up etc etc) so it will cost you a lot more to hook them up
