Well I don't know - things are designed to work within tolerances, limits, specifications etc. If a gearbox is designed to with with an oil of a certain viscosity and you use the wrong stuff, its not going to be good for it. All I can say for certain is that chemically this stuff looks VERY close to Ford and Diaqueen, almost identical. Now - the resolution may not be high enough to pickup trace additives, things present in low quantity, but the bulk material looks to have the same chemical make up. I'm GUESSING that as the bulk composition looks the same, the physical properties are the same - BUT sometimes, a small amount of additive can have a big difference. Just saying - use at your own risk
