Hi Guys,

Long time stalker of these forums - first time poster.

Going to pick up my Ralliart 2013 Lancer tomorrow.
Want to get my bonnet and roof vinyl wrapped.

Can anyone recommend a decent place? or DIY (I was pretty good at contacting my school books back in the day)?

Thanks! :)

Hey Paul, where in Melbourne are you located? I highly recommend Zoom Garage in Hallam or Exotic Graphix in Carrum Downs

Zoom Garage can also plasti-dip your whole car if you want

If you want to keep the work within CCJ's members, look for lukeaday who is in the State's West.
He put alot of vinyl on our member's cars:

or on FB: https://www.facebook.com/lukeaday81

and for Plastidip,
our member BMS Creations can do it.

Titanium Grey.

I was thinking the standard carbon fiber wrap at first, but open to suggestions! Just really after additional paint protection (stone chips & scratches) more than anything...

There's a brushed-steel effect that looks really good close-up; it's got a proper texture to it and the colour would compliment yours (it's a grey-steely colour rather than bright silver), so it would be a very subtle effect.

Personally I'm a bit shy of putting CF on roofs & bonnets as it's really obvious that it's not real - if your car is heavily modded and looks 'rad' you can definitely get away with CF.

I did mine with metallic gloss black, simply because it looks like paint and looks a bit more 'factory'

Plus, you can pretty much guarantee no-one else will have done this on a Lancer yet...! :-)

And in IMHO, I reckon it would look great!

Cheers!

I have the brushed metal titanium vinyl on the evo, I used to vinyl the center to cover up the holes from a liscence plate mount, looks really nice, looks close to the oem colour, with a nice textured effect,
Should be some pics here
